Devotees from Adhuvan (Anthuvan) Kulam and Semban Kulam — belonging to the Kongu Vellala Gounder community — from Modamangalam village and neighbouring districts have come together to build and worship at the Selliamman Temple, honouring a tradition passed down through generations.
